Dennis Nash is Founder and Executive Chairman of the Kenan Advantage Group (KAG). KAG is North America’s largest tank transporter and logistics provider delivering fuels, chemicals, industrial gases and liquid food products. KAG generates nearly $2 billion in revenue annually and employs 10,000 individuals in 40 states and five Canadian provinces and territories.
Prior to forming KAG predecessor company Advantage Tank Lines in 1991, Mr. Nash worked for Ohio–based Coastal Industrials and Leaseway Transportation, holding various senior management positions.
With respect to industry affiliations, for many years Mr. Nash has served on various labor and advisory councils and is currently on the board of directors and executive committees for National Tank Truck Carriers (NTTC) and the American Trucking Associations (ATA). He was recently named to ATA’s Infrastructure Task Force, an organization created to address the country’s critical need for highway and bridge improvements.
He also serves on the boards of Cardinal Logistics, Greensboro, North Carolina; Hydrochem PSC, Houston, Texas; Transplace Logistics, Dallas, Texas; U.S. Xpress, Inc., Chattanooga, TN and the Northwestern University Transportation Center business advisory council. Other professional affiliations include serving a diverse group of Ohio-based organizations to include Vice Chairman of Ohio Governor John Kasich’s executive workforce board, Chairman of the Board of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and a member of the Stark Economic Development Board.
Over the past several years, Mr. Nash has been instrumental in major fundraising efforts for Pathway Caring for Children, raising over $5.0 million through his annual Keeping America Going Golf Classic. Pathway is a non-profit, Ohio-based organization devoted to providing innovative mental health care, foster care and adoption services for children at risk.
