USA Truck drives deeper into Mexico despite trade fears
Uncertainty about the future of NAFTA isn’t stopping USA Truck from expanding in Mexico.
“We don’t expect any significant changes to NAFTA,” Jim Craig, USAT Logistics president and USA Truck executive vice president and chief commercial officer, said in a statement Friday. “In any event, the size of the Mexico market is huge, and we have a very small portion.”
The logistics division of the US truckload carrier opened USAT Logistics de Mexico, located in Celaya, Guanajuato, a city in Central Mexico about 170 miles northwest of Mexico City.
