Transplace’s Jay Moss and Celtic International’s Steve Golich Selected as “Pros to Know” by Supply & Demand Chain Executive
February 25, 2014 (Dallas, TX) – Transplace, a leading provider of transportation management services and logistics technology solutions, today announced that Senior Vice President of Brokerage Jay Moss and Celtic International President Steve Golich have been selected by Supply & Demand Chain Executive as 2014 Provider Pros to Know. In its fourteenth-annual edition of Pros to Know, the magazine recognized supply chain executives who are leading initiatives to help their customers prepare their supply chains for the significant challenges of today’s business climate.
“This honor highlights the many thought-leaders who are helping to shape the supply chain industry and advance supply chain as a respected discipline in the enterprise,” said Barry Hochfelder, editor of Supply & Demand Chain Executive. “Their efforts in developing the tools, processes and knowledge base necessary for supply chain transformation, and in promoting new approaches to supply chain enablement, have earned them a place on this year’s Pros listing.”
Jay Moss was selected for his efforts in leading Transplace’s Capacity Services, Specialized Services and dedicated fleet teams. Under his leadership, these three business services were successfully integrated, allowing for more streamlined business processes within the brokerage division. He has demonstrated exceptional management of a talented team to continuously improve operations and develop outstanding synergy among Transplace’s customers.
“It’s a privilege to be included among a group of such highly respected and successful supply chain professionals,” said Moss. “At Transplace, we’re dedicated to establishing successful processes and services that help our customers navigate supply chain challenges and improve their bottom line.”
Steve Golich was selected as a 2014 Pro to Know for his strong, proven leadership, outstanding talent development, and commitment to customer satisfaction. His extensive experience and guidance drives excellence throughout Celtic, which combined with Transplace in 2011, and has achieved substantial growth over the past few years.
“I am truly honored to be recognized as a Pro to Know by Supply & Demand Chain Executive,” said Golich. “The success of Transplace and Celtic proves our leadership team’s commitment to providing our customers with innovative solutions to streamline supply chain operations and adapt to changing market and economic conditions.” Tom Sanderson, CEO of both Transplace and Celtic International, said: “It is a strong statement about our leadership to have Transplace and Celtic recognized in Supply & Demand Chain Executive.
