Third Party Logistics Provider is Recognized by Notable Supply Chain Publications for Outstanding Customer Service

The third party logistics (3PL) provider received awards acknowledging its strength in helping customers achieve supply chain excellence. Publications recognizing Transplace included Inbound Logistics, Logistics Management, Supply & Demand Chain Executive, Food Logistics and Dallas Business Journal.
Logistics Management acknowledged Transplace with its “Quest for Quality” award, which determines the best 3PL companies on the basis of service quality. Transplace was also selected from more than 200 companies submitted among the best supply chain solutions and service providers in Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s “Top 100.” The award highlighted transformative supply chain projects that have had a significant impact on companies going through the implementations. Food Logistics named Transplace on its“Top 85 3PLs” list – which Transplace won for its commitment to the food industry and helping food companies optimize operations and gain a competitive advantage. Transplace was ranked fourth for the second consecutive year by Inbound Logistics in its “Top 10 3PL” list for exceptional outsourcing services. Additionally, Transplace was ranked in the top five on Dallas Business Journal’s 3PL list for its excellence in meeting customer needs.

Transplace ranked fourth on the list for the second consecutive year.
The 2011 Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 include supply chain solution and service providers that are assisting their customers and clients to achieve supply chain excellence and prepare their supply chains for the post-recessionary return to growth. For this year’s “Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100” feature, the magazine looked to highlight supply chain transformation projects.
